Ford Ranger (6th Gen) Rear Seat Delete
Built for commercial, utility, and military-grade use, our 6th Gen Ford Ranger Rear Seat Delete transforms your rear seat area into a flat, waterproof, easy-to-clean platform. Made from 5052 aluminum with a 3mm steel support structure, it’s strong enough for heavy gear or large dog crates but only slightly heavier than the factory seats. Features include removable access doors for factory cubbies and the OEM jack, compatibility with subwoofer-equipped Rangers, tons of tie-down points, and an optional rear wall for MOLLE panels or Packout boxes.
Designed and built to meet the demands of commercial, utility, and even military markets, our Rear Seat Delete turns your back seat into a fully flat, ultra-strong platform for serious work, gear hauling, and mission-ready organization.
Work-Ready. Field-Tested.
Built from 5052 aluminum with a 3mm mild steel support structure, this system can handle heavy gear loads without adding unnecessary weight. The entire setup (including the optional back wall) tips the scales at just ~75 lbs – barely more than the stock seats – so you gain serious function without bogging down your Ranger.

Ford Ranger (6th Gen) Rear Seat Delete
Rear Seat Delete for the 6th-Gen Ford Ranger Crew Cab
What Sets It Apart
- Over $500 less than comparable “flat floor” systems.
- Fully waterproof – mud, rain, snow, coffee, or chemical spills are no problem.
- Super durable yet lightweight – true commercial-grade construction.
- Tons of threaded tie-down points for tools, crates, or cargo.
- Accessory ecosystem coming – MOLLE panels, Packout mounts, and more on the way.
Flat Floor. Smart Details.
The all-metal platform creates a fully flat, easy-to-clean surface that won’t trap dirt, dust, or odors. Built-in threaded tie-downs keep cargo secure, while easily removable access doors let you reach factory cubbies. The rear panel’s access door provides direct reach to the OEM jack — and yes, it works seamlessly with subwoofer-equipped Rangers, too.
Optional Rear Wall = Mounting Surface Goldmine
Add the optional rear wall to cover the exposed cab wall and gain a secure mounting surface for MOLLE panels, Milwaukee Packout boxes, radios, or anything else your job (or weekend) calls for.
Finishes for Every Use Case
- Raw Aluminum – for DIY finishing or custom coating.
- Textured Black – a clean look for light-use.
- Mil-Spec Lining – the ultimate choice for extreme durability, grip, and sound deadening.
Fast Install. Easy Reversal.
Installs in minutes with simple hand tools (a couple of cheap specialty tools make it even faster). Seat belt mounts stay intact, so the factory seats can go back in just as easily if needed.
Reconnect the seat belt's wiring harness after seat removal to prevent dash warnings. The seat belts can be tucked behind the rear wall to keep them out of the way.
Designed With Real-World Input.
We worked directly with Ranger6G.com members and commercial truck builders to make sure this system fit the needs of real users – from fleets and utility companies to overlanders and, yes, dog owners. Dogs came later in the conversation, but they benefit just as much – the flat, durable surface is perfect for free-roaming pups or safely secured crates.
Bottom Line
This isn’t just a “seat delete.” It’s a commercial-grade platform that turns wasted space into secure, climate-controlled, fully functional storage – at a price that leaves the other guys wondering how we did it.
