Introducing the Jeep JL Tailgate Air Command System
This innovative system replaces the OEM plastic lining on the tailgate and provides a robust, versatile mounting solution for your twin ARB Compressor. But that’s not all—it also offers the option to mount ARB’s tire pressure control system, an LCD battery monitor, and the Apex Performance Compact Reel System!
Because this thing is made entirely out of 5052 aluminum it does great at dissipating the heat! It also has the built in vent in the rear of the tailgate and we added some venting holes in the bottom of the box to further help that compressor cool off.
Key Features:
- Compact Fit: There’s a tight 3mm space between the end of the dual ARB table and the front of our fridge in our shop setup, so you might need to adjust your setup slightly.

NOTE: The instructions are based off using our Wiring Kit - Rear Mount to wire up your ARB Twin Compressor so we highly recommend including that in your bundle.

Apex Performance Compact Reel System (CRS)
The TACS is designed to be in use with Apex’s 20′ compact reel system so that you can seamlessly air up all 4 of your tires from the rear of your Jeep. And then neatly store the air hose when you’re done! They really knocked it out of the park with this product.
NOTE: CRS Reel is an optional product available on the add-ons section above.
Heat Dissipation
The TACS is built entirely out of 5052 aluminum which makes a great dissipater for the heat from the ARB compressor. We also included vented holes in the bottom to help aid in the cooling along with the factory vents in the back of the tailgate.
12″ x 8″ MOLLE Panel
A sleek MOLLE panel so that you can store your MOLLE bag full of air tools or a first aid kit!
LCD Battery Monitor Option
If you have an auxiliary power setup and what to include a easy accessible battery monitor then this is the option for you!
Latchable Fold Down Table
This is where the twin ARB Compressor gets mounted and gives you a latchable table to store your side-of-the-trail drink while airing up.
Contura Switch Cutouts, Air Chuck and Trash Bag Hook
We like to make the most out of the little space we have available so included are the 2 contura switch cutouts, air chuck and trash bag hook so you can have everything you need in one convenient place.
Compatible with ARB Pressure Control and App
The TACS has the brackets and mounting holes already built into main plate. So all you need to do is purchase the ARB Pressure Control Kit above and you’ll be good to hook it up! This allows you to connect your phone to your Compressor, set your desired PSI and sit back and relax while it fills up your tires!

Do you offer installation instructions?

If we have a digital version of the instructions, they will be included there. You will also receive a printed sheet with your order that details how to ask questions or receive installation assistance.
